Good one Quantum, 70deg? would be getting the bread out to make some toast. ;D
With 4 good fans plus fans on graphics cards I think I`m safe at 50 deg C max.
It just shows us that even the big boys have worries about simple stuff. Would never have thought about soldering as a problem in this day and age.

Many GPUs comfortably run at 70 deg, the core itself generally cope with up to 110 deg, it's the die package, the surrounding memory and the soldering that struggles.

Because I saw one of our members on Pentium 4 show figures from Speedtest.net (always liked the pentium 4 3.0 GHz) Gave it a try tonight based on Dublin 105miles away.
Download 17,098 and upload 713. This was running moderate figure of 2.7 GHz on stock 2.4 GHz quad 6600 on 64 bit vista ultimate. Seems like the constant updates are starting to help.lol
Will try again.
