Doubleview screens
texasboy:
Vista 64 Ultimate with 2x8800GT cards in SLI mode.. Only occasionally during boot up am I faced with a split double screen, somewhat blurry. Cursor applies to both screens in tandem. Most times if I leave it ,it reverts back to normal screen. All graphics/Mobo drivers are up to date. Didnt happen tonight but wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. Sometimes I have to revert back to original CDrom and repair. Strange one.
cheers

I have had this double effect a few times in XP, it always seem to occur when I've been on the Whiskey [rolleyes]
:D

billy, you light weight :P
Tex, surprisingly SLi isn't very good at handling double screen, CrossFire wasn't either till recently, I imagine nVidia will catch up soon. Best I can suggest is to keep drivers updated, ask about on graphics card forums, it might even be worth updating your Graphics Card BIOS.

It's like updating a motherboard BIOS, it's not a risk-free process, I've never bothered updating mine, but I've never had problems with mine.
