How does cleaning affect a supermarket's reputation?

(1/1)

Dr3adn0ught:
Hello everyone. I wondered, I read that the cleanliness of the store directly affects the number of customers. Is it true that due to poor cleaning, a supermarket can lose customers?

42Duggg:
Well, of course. I definitely stop going to stores where the floor is sticky and there are strange smells in the air. Dirty carts and checkout areas are especially annoying.

AKTHESAVIOR:
Absolutely right! Cleanliness is the first thing a customer notices, even if they don’t realize it. If a store has dirty floors, unpleasant smells, or dusty display cases, people will simply choose a competitor. I’ve seen this work in practice. After our supermarket started working with supermarket cleaning services, customers began leaving more positive reviews. This is especially noticeable in the vegetable and bakery departments – cleanliness is critical there. Plus, it’s now easier for the staff to work in a well-kept space, and this affects their mood.
