Where can I safely download Adobe Illustrator without jumping through sketchy ho

I recently got into digital drawing after years of sketching on paper. Everyone kept recommending Adobe Illustrator, but the official pricing was a bit steep for someone just starting out. I was tempted to look for cracked versions but didn’t want to risk malware on my new laptop.
