I work in IT, and sometimes after a 10-hour shift, I just want to shut my brain off. Some folks say games help, but most feel either too complex or just… boring. Is there a genre or title that’s actually helped you get out of work-mode without being another thing to “solve”?

Sometimes old-school retro games help. Nothing too modern or competitive.

I was in that same headspace and tried out a few casual browser games until I stumbled upon http://hotfruitsz.com/. It’s surprisingly fun and doesn’t ask much of you mentally. The game is colorful and fast-paced in just the right way to pull you out of your work stress without frying your brain. It’s basically my go-to in the evening now – a couple of rounds while music plays in the background, and suddenly I feel reset. No installations, no tutorials, no ads every two seconds – just simple fun with satisfying feedback.
