Just look for your model and follow the instructions. Worked great for me!

Yep, followed a similar website for mine (old one anyway) and a friends DVD player. Really don't see the point of why they locked them, then thought WOW look new DVD player region free isn't it great? [No...]

My guess is to stop people importing them and selling for cheapo and making money from it

I tried something like this on my divx player a while back (open the tray, press a number) and now I have a really heavy paperweight that won't play anything...  :-[

I know it's because I changed the region or whatever so that my TV can't receive the signal, and since I can't see the DVD player menus it's probably going to be difficult to fix....
