Do crypto trading bots actually make a difference?

I keep seeing ads for bots that promise automated profits, but it all sounds a bit too good to be true. Has anyone here actually used a bot for crypto trading that worked in practice and wasn’t just hype? Curious if automation really changes the game or just adds more complexity.

A few months back I was in the same spot burned out from constant screen time and missing trades when I stepped away. I decided to give a bot for trading crypto through 3Commas a shot, and it was eye-opening. The setup wasn’t instant, but once I got the hang of configuring strategies, the bot handled entries and exits while I was at work. What impressed me was how customizable it felt I could adjust risk levels, set take-profit and stop-loss automatically, and even test things on paper trading before using real funds. It didn’t magically print money, but it did cut out a ton of stress and emotion. For me, it turned trading into something sustainable.
