Moving to New York
(1/1)
GabrielYoung:
In New York, even moving to the next street turns into a whole operation: traffic jams, parking, elevators, entrances. Sometimes you think: it’s easier to take a couple of bags and carry them for several days than to organize a full-fledged move. But then you realize that professionals can handle it in a few hours. This gives a sense of control, which is so lacking. The question is different: is it worth trying to cope on your own in such a city? Or is it better to immediately trust the professionals who know all the nuances? It seems to me that the second option is much more rational.

I tried to move my things from Manhattan to Queens myself - it took me a week. In the end, I called a company anyway, and in 4 hours they did what I had been dragging out for days

Yes, it was important for me too. I contacted long distance movers NYC Samba Moving because I liked their website and pricing policy. They have a license, insurance and fixed prices. They organized the packing, transportation and unpacking themselves. This saved me a lot of trouble. I especially liked that you could choose consolidated transportation, which was cheaper. For moving across the country, this is a really great solution.
