I went back to L4D1 for a little while because I got sick of L4D2. I think they added too much crap in L4D2 and the first one is overall a much better game.

I don't play either one anymore, but I would still be interested in playing once in a blue moon. I have almost 500 hours in L4D1 and a little less than 200 in the second one I think :o It was time for a new game, I mostly play StarCraft 2 now and a little Bad Company 2 and Team Fortress 2 here and there.

I didn't play the first one unfortunately but if it drops in price I might purchase it.

I couldn't get into Team Fortress 2 buy I have bad company 2 for the 360 but it's probably so much better for the PC.

Yeah...first person shooters are so much better on PC.

I hated TF2 at first (especially the graphics) but it's kinda of entertaining. I didn't start playing it until a few weeks ago.

L4D1 was 5 bucks a while back for a limited time. I'd keep your eyes open for those crazy limited time steam deals when games drop to rock bottom prices. I just bought borderlands for 5 bucks last week with one of those deals. Normally, it's like 30 bucks or something.

L4D1's community has sort of died after L4D2 came out, that's why so many people boycotted the sequel. You may not be able to get much playing time in on the first one even if you bought it today. Most of the players left know each other and play very competitively. Only the core hardcore fans remain (which I was at some point part of that group). Not many noobs play it I would imagine.
