Heh, I've got it. Chubby Checker. He covered the song "The Twist", which had been written by a group called Hank Ballard and the Midnighters. He made it a big hit and inspired the dance.

;D As usual deckkeeper, right on the button. YES i agree its almost time to stop posting on the forum. There doesnt seem to be any interest from members to do anything other than view ,with an occassional hello. Almost time to pack it in.!!!!
