Torrent download problems

I have been using Bit che for quite some time but over the last few days I cannot get my selected torrent to register in U torrents to download.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times with no luck. This is on my PC running W7.
My other PC running XP Pro has no problems.
Any ideas to fix please?

revouninstaller to uninstall both bit che and utorrent (moderate clean option should be good enough)
then reninstall both, see if that works
