I loved Mafia to be sure but my fav would have to be Deus Ex. Can't really fault it for the era, but I still enjoy playing it today, it always seems fresh and interesting.

I been here since the first amiga, so for me it's:
Ultima Underworld, Elder Scrolls series for RPG
All Mario, Zelda, Metroid stuff for nintendo
Streetfighter, Mortal Kombat and Soul Caliber for Beat M Ups
Half-life, Quake, Doom, Deus Ex, System/Bioshock, Duke Nukem, Crysis, Unreal (Tournament), Call of Duty for FPS
Star Wars Galaxies (before NGE) and World of Warcraft for MMO (altough I dont play any mmo no more)
Need for Speed and Gran Turismo for racing
And when it comes to Humor it is: Sam & Max, GTA, Full Throttle

That's all I can think of now  :)
