Any movies recently watched worth mentioning? (New Movies & DVD Rentals Thread)

Watched Blood Diamond today and was blown away by it! I knew it would be pretty good coming from the director of The Last Samurai but this was quite a movie. My old boss was born and raised in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where the main character is from. DiCapro does his best performance to date in my opinion, at first I didn't think he quite got the accent but after watching the whole movie he does. I forgot he was even american at one point! Anyway it's worth a look if it seems your kind of movie.

Also watched Léon (a.k.a. The Professional) and hadn't seen this movie for years but finally picked up the DVD for $10 at a local stall. Really cool action movie (an action movie with a plot if ever one did exist ^_^), I really enjoyed it.

If you wish to see a creepy movie to scare the living dayllights out of you.. watch  "Wrong Turn" on DVD OMG... put the speakers on high.. and then be prepared to jump out of your skin.  I am not into creepy movies.. but it wasn't my choice in movies.. i watched it.. and even my son in laws were freaked out.. and they are tough.. hehe.. don't know how many nails i chewed or how many times i screamed, but lucky the neighbours are deaf... and live 10 metres away haha..

Anyone see the trailer for "Epic Movie"? Seems silly, but funny silly  :D I like to laugh and I admit I will go and see this flick.

Since Date Movie got one of the worst movies of last year... although this has a little more potential... will it be any better?
