script update not working: workarounds?

MacOS X,
wine devel 4.16 or wine stable 4.0.2 (same problem)

script update function doesn't work.

on the terminal output it states
"0009:fixme:winhttp:winhttp_request_QueryInterface interface {b196b284-bab4-101a-b69c-00aa00341d07} not implemented"

it there any workaround, like updating scripts manually?
