Computer Monitor Boot Logo
« on: January 02, 2020, 09:48:59 pm »
Excuse me if this isn't the best subreddit for this, but I had a question about computer monitors.
Most monitors have some kind of logo pop up when you first turn the monitor on. This makes it so once you hit the power button, you don't see any sort of image from your computer for a couple of seconds. I specifically have a sceptre brand monitor and it does this, with it being approximately 8 seconds from when I hit the power button to when I see an image.
As an engineer, I'm always trying to see if there are ways to solve problems, and while this is a problem you're simply expected to live with, I'm curious if anybody knows about, or has heard of a way to get around this/disable the logo screen? Thanks!
