It shows a lack of professionalism. Sure, maybe it was your manager who was being an idiot by publicly embarrassing you in front of the entire company, but did they deserve to be told to go [expletive] themselves?
Probably not. There are better ways to handle people who act like jerks in the workplace. It makes other people feel uncomfortable. You're at work to do your job and there are probably plenty of people who feel uncomfortable around people who curse excessively.
