I agree that making the interface look 'l33t' would not help at all.
However, if you do decide to switch to l33t-mode, don't forget to compile it with the
incredibly annoying 'chip tunes' that crackers seem to always put in their releases.

some of us like tracker mods('chip tunes')
It's traditional & goes back to times when that was the only thing available. Using chip synthesis reduces the size by not needing samples.
The problem with samples is if your coding a bootloader on a floppy you only got 1K to play with.
