Title: The Unofficial UK football page 2009-2010
Post by: texasboy on August 07, 2009, 07:31:58 am
;D A new start is almost upon us.
Many regular players have gone to sunnier climates and many more have swapped teams or have been drafted into service.
My gut feeling is that this coming season will be very different  from last year and there will be many upsets. Not for Chelsea of course. The BLUES  will again come to the front >:D.
Please feel free to post a comment  on your favourite team as we move along.
cheers

;D This is my second stream team, who will have no difficulty keeping Man U on their toes. I also feel that Spurs will even give Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool a good run for their money this season. Some great scores at the start of premier league, but all will settle down. I do feel a little sad for brother Billy, but then again he is old enough to take the early knocks. cough.! >:D
cheers

Eduardo did not dive!! Grr... he fell over/dodged goalkeeper/falling with momentum as he was going across the line/whatever but not a dive? You could see he didn't say a word before or after the ref gave the decision.

Stupid uefa.

Oh and have fun tonight billy  ;D

If you think Eduardo's was a dive, then surely Rooney's was?

(See here (http://thegoonblog.com/2009/08/see-wayne-rooneys-clear-dive-in-todays-match/))

But you think everything will blow up about that? No.

Plus what was diaby thinking?!?!

Sorry NWM after having studied several versions of this incident. It is my professional judgement that the only one taking a dive was the goalkeeper. He totally impeded  Rooney on his way to further glory. Now, if he tries it again against Chelsea, I may have to revue the situation. >:D

WTF is this

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8236483.stm (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8236483.stm)

Look at the title and the 'loveable Rooney' picture they put in. Almost the exact opposite of Eduardo's press. A more accusing title and a picture of Eduardo falling flat on his face.

The media really have something out for Arsenal this year?!?

Oh and almost forgot to mention the 2 transfer window ban for Chelsea!!!!
