thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience :-\
First - thanks for great program. :) It is one of the most useful and finely done download-related softwares I had ever seen.
I did russian translation for most of text (except guevara account stuff), but when I tried it I got same problem as posted about greek translation - ruined text in column names and status messages.
Attached file has russian text wherever it shows right and english where it is broken (most of it like seeders\leechers is common torrent knowledge anyway so I guess it's ok until program becomes capable of full cyrillic support). I tried my best to fit text on buttons but I had to shorten meaning of some strings, especially on open\save buttons because those words are much longer in russian.
No more issues for now, I'll update it if I stumble upon anything while using it (was translating offline so I could miss something). btw it's somewhat hard to translate what guevara edition is - because it's not even very clear in english (without visiting site). :)
...
th3.r00t - I have recently improved Unicode support and UTF8 support for search results. I dont know if its perfect yet because its not full tested, but I was able to get Greek UTF8 characters to display. A beta version will be ready soon for that. thanks! i've unlocked Guevara Edition for you.

LeonardB, a german translation would be great! thanks man :)
Thanks man! I've unlocked your forums account! Feel free to post an updated file at any time if you notice anything needing updating.. And most of all, welcome to the forums! :)
@LeonardB
Thanks for the effort. I can't read the longer texts (my poor vobcabulary), but the menus look great.
Thanks a lot Djiraan for your work and effort :D Sure Chip will most appreciative, he's been a bit busy recently in real life, so don't be too offended if this takes at least a few days to implement in to Bit Che. You'll be given access to Bit Che Guevara Edition as well when Chip spots this :)
I am working on chinese now, I just looked a test run at it. And it looks all distored...

castellano - a variant of spanish, and serves as a replacement for the totally broken spanish that is delivered with bit che
I've noticed that the "torrent details" form labels in lithuanian doesn't fit into the label.
Could you make the labels auto resize to the longest label string.
Hi. This is my first post...Congratulation for the program. Is a great one. I translated Bit Che into Romanian, who is interested can downloat these 2 .ini files, one is with diacritics the other one is without diacritics. Hope to be usefull for all romanian users of this program.

Hi guys! I can make Italian translation! Can I do it? Let me know! ;D ;D ;D
p.s. I noticed Italian translation is very poor and full of mistakes... :'( I can make a 100% Italian translation if you allow it to me! ;D
yeah chip, its quite a long story - bottom line is that I'm Polish and I'm living in Mexico now (so if you need some help in Spanish, just holler at me man! :P )
Ok! ;D In about a couple of days you'll have it! I will be able to get access to Guevara Edition too? ::)yes you will ...........
Here is the 100% Italian translation! It should be perfect. I've checked it. If there are any problems I'll fix them, but I don't think. I hope to have created a good job! ;D If you have to translate other software to Italian, ask me without any problem! Many compliments to Chip for this fabulous software and many thanks to MinLo for this opportunity! ;)

Instructions for translating Bit Che into your language:
1. Download the latest version of the English translation file:
http://www.convivea.com/download/English.ini
2. Save 'English.ini' to the new language you are translating to. For example: 'NewLanguage.ini'
Put this file in your "C:\Program Files\Bit Che\Languages\" directory (unless you installed it somewhere else).
3. Edit this 'NewLanguage.ini' and translate only the text to the right of the '=' signs. For example, if you see "mnuH=Hello" then only translate the word 'Hello'.
4. Load up Bit Che and check to make sure the translations appear correctly. You might need to shorten the text for some of the buttons to appear correctly.
5. Once you are pleased with your results, attach your language file here to a forum post:
To do this, make a reply post here in this thread. While you are editing your post, you will see a link at the bottom that says "(Additional Options)".. click that and a file upload box will be displayed which will allow you to attach your language.ini straight to your post here.
and then you are done!
If you have any questions or any problems, don't hesitate to ask! :)
Ps, I have a large database of country flags so you don't need to worry about the country flag icon.
Thank you in advance!

turegum's Tips for translators:
- Download and install Azureus (or uTorrent) and then toggle between English an your own language (tools-options-interface-language). Azureus has most of the torrenting related words you need already translated.
- If you have your own language Firefox you can compare the translations with and English version.
- Some Open Source projects (like GNOME) might have a localization pages including a computer related word dictionary on the local language web site. Check / Google that.
- Other sources: Babelfish, Google Rosetta project, computer dictionaries, Local language pages in Wikipedia, torrenting related translated ebooks, the torrenting geek sitting next to you...
Work slowly. If you get stuck with an expression or word, leave it for a while and come back to it later. don't try to force the translation.

Sure why not.....LOL.....You'll get Guevara when you complete it
Here is complete Slovak translation, but some translated features were not tested because free edition. If you enable me Guevara account, I will test all translated words and I find and repair all mistakes because I hate, when the words have not right sense. After that I will send you this repaired translation...

Hi!
I downloaded the last version and it didn't contain the Hungarian language, so i made my version. I tried a faster way to send it to you, but the contact stuff may not work (in an hour), so i finally found this topic and read with exasperation that there's already a Hungarian translation. If i made it, i post it now with hope you can use it.

Rarst are you using the program compare in the language folder in order to find out the missing strings that you have to add and translate? Thanks, that compare thing added missing and changed strings for me totranslate but that doesn't fix "removed results" window - all strings (column names) there are in english even when they are translated and showing properly in main window.
Chip when checking for a new version the strings connecting etc doesnt still support unicodeUnicode is ok for me everywhere in interface... Not ok in search results as mentioned in build 60 release topic.
sqbol you can change yourself the name of the translator from the ini fileThat's exactly what I did in the first place: I translated the file from sratch and put my name in it and uploaded it. What I mean is: check out the "available languages" list - over there you can see "Polish - lenrok" instead of me. And the polish.ini file that comes with the newest version is also lenrok's old (and crappy) version.
Hi Chip!
Just downloaded Bit Che 1.0 build 60 and here it is: an updated version of my Dutch translation. O0
Greetings & keep going strong!
Jan
I downloaded the newest version and translated it to Afrikaans...I put the Afrikaans.ini in \bit che\languages, but when I restart Bit Che, there is no sign of Afrikaans...any suggestions?
Chris
Hi Chris,
I got your account unlocked and also everyone else who did a translation up to this post!
Enter your forums email and password into Bit Che to unlock!
Thanks again, I will get the languages included in the next installer update.

hey..i could help with Arabic Version ;)
When expected, that the others get in between a language ( Hungarian) ?
I have updated the Italian language, right now I do not have time to better proof check it because I'm leaving for holidays...
Although I must admit it's kinda difficult to translate "match" into Dutch in this context. Currently it says "kopieen", but that means copy.
Bit che 2.0 build 35
Dutch pack updated!
Note: i have updated so fast as possible ;D
Excuse me
I'm March. I have used Bitche for 3-4 years but just registered today. (T^T)
I saw in [ http://convivea.com/forums/index.php?topic=180.0 (http://convivea.com/forums/index.php?topic=180.0) ] that Thai language is Gamemania's responsibility.
But I have not seen anything yet.
Can I translate Bitche to Thai language?
greek translation for .60
it will be a real pleasure if buttons can change size according to text in the next version, every time i have to cut letters
i dont think i can have the buttons adjust with the text because it will mess up the GUI layouts.. but do you want to take some more screen shots and let me know?

Would be good flexible buttons or large buttons. Elsewhere would be a good long line. For example:

These lines are some problem (detail in Hungarian.ini file):Code: [Select]mnuDownload=Torrent megnyitása...

DrunKnJSD, yes an updated language file would be great
