Title: Bit Che won't start
Post by: FW on October 10, 2008, 08:09:37 pm
Hello,

I've just downloaded Bit Che 1.0.59, and after installation, the program won't start. When I click the shortcut to start it, the hourglass appears shortly, then no screen appears, nothing at all. No error message either. I'm using Win XP Home SP2.

Have I missed someting? Do I  need to download additional software to make it run?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

cnet download.com still shows 1.0.59 but really points to 1.0.60.. not sure if thats the case here or not, but there is some previous posts regarding similar issues.. i think they had to do with making sure DEP was turned off (however, that was more of a problem with 1.0.59 than 1.0.60)...

Hi FW,

Which torrent client are you using as in utorrent, bitcommet or ??

Did you install the torrent client before installing "Bit Che" ??

Thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for your replies.

I just installed version 1.0.60, but the the problem remains. It won't start, all I see is the hourglass for a second or so, and then nothing happens.

I use utorrent, which has been installed before Bit Che. Is this an issue?

Thanks again for your replies.

Cheers

I have the exact same problem... It won't start, just starts and then closes again within a second...
I had the same problem on my other computer

It does start if I hold Enter down (to keep opening it over and over really fast) after it's opened like 50 times it stays open and I get a message saying "application already open" or something like that...'

It used to work, then it stopped :)
