P2P - Filesharing / Where can I find rare files?

So, my to go way whenever I need to find rare files, such as certain e-books, has been eMule. I have almost always been able to find files that I couldn't find on big torrent websites (I'm using x1337x at the moment, but a new one pops up every other month to take the place of a terminated one).
