Title: How does cleaning affect a supermarket's reputation?
Post by: Dr3adn0ught on March 02, 2025, 11:38:55 pm
Hello everyone. I wondered, I read that the cleanliness of the store directly affects the number of customers. Is it true that due to poor cleaning, a supermarket can lose customers?

Well, of course. I definitely stop going to stores where the floor is sticky and there are strange smells in the air. Dirty carts and checkout areas are especially annoying.

Absolutely right! Cleanliness is the first thing a customer notices, even if they don’t realize it. If a store has dirty floors, unpleasant smells, or dusty display cases, people will simply choose a competitor. I’ve seen this work in practice. After our supermarket started working with supermarket cleaning services (https://jicleaning.com/commercial/retail-cleaning/), customers began leaving more positive reviews. This is especially noticeable in the vegetable and bakery departments – cleanliness is critical there. Plus, it’s now easier for the staff to work in a well-kept space, and this affects their mood.
