Title: Instagram following history — is it gone?

Back in the day, you could easily view who your friends followed last on Instagram. Now, with all the privacy updates and design changes, it’s nearly impossible to figure out any order. Does anyone know if there’s still a reliable method to view follow history? I’m not looking to invade privacy, just understand what’s public.

Instagram definitely shifted its design toward hiding follow activity, but there are still ways to make sense of it. When I stumbled into this discussion — http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=155248  I found people discussing third-party trackers that don’t require login and just display public profile activity. The key is using tools that don’t need your IG credentials and work purely off public data. These can show recent follows in a format that’s way easier to read than Instagram’s own interface.
