Title: Bit Che on Linux with Wine and Vuze
Post by: feedusafetus on March 06, 2010, 02:22:03 am
Hey all I managed to get Bit Che running on my Linux box with Wine. Everything works, but... I can't figure out how to get Bit Che to open torrents with Vuze. I have Vuze installed but it's opening torrents with the default torrent app, Transmission. Any help?

I'm not sure what your question is. Do you have Transmission installed? You should probably uninstall it, or set Vuze to the default client. This should fix your problem.

My question is, how do I set Vuze to the default client?

Is there a way to delete/uninstall Transmission? Maybe the forums over at Vuze can help you set it to the default client.

also, read the post below mine by maxter that includes a description on what needs to change in the "torrent_open.script" and a possible font fix.

EDIT: I have posted the ubuntu.zip files with the script here, in case you dont have a forum account there..

That is what  I was looking for. The bit about the "torrent_openscript" file. How do I get to the Wine registry to import the "Default_System.reg" file?
