Title: Help Please!Bit Che Issue!! - Win2000

Hi All,

Something very weird has happened?I updated my version of Bit Che to the latest and now every time I try to open the program a box comes up and says..

Bit_Che.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.You will need to restart the program....

Nothig else happens but that and I have tried a re-instal and still the same message?

Now all was well before and now this!

Very,very annoying as I LOVE this program!!!!!!

hm if you set compatibility mode for windows 98?

I have the same problem.  Compatibility mode did not help.  Tried 95, 98, and nt4.
From the log
Application exception occurred:
        App:  (pid=1436)
        When: 3/31/2008 @ 08:08:09.296
        Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

hi guys..

i'm hoping to get a Win2000 machine setup sometime soon.. but in the mean time, maybe one of you wouldnt mind jumping on IRC today (i should be around).. and then we can debug/figure this out in real time..

ok, i haven't gotten to test with a Windows 2000 machine yet, but can someone try re-downloading the latest version from the main download location?

i believe the error was generated because of a bug with the file packer/protector i use. i contacted the author and he told me 2 things to try disabling, so i have re-packaged with the changes..  i just need someone to verify if this has fixed the problem or not..

I was able to confirm & fix the bug as stated in my last post!

please re-download Bit Che if you were on Windows 2000.. no one else should be affected  :D
