Bought some new Artic Silver 5 thermal paste. took heat sink out, cleaned contacts, but accidently dropped screwdriver unto pins on mobo(Intel DX58SO) and wrecked them. Had to buy new mobo yesterday and install again. But the good news is the new one is excellent. Gigabyte X58A-UD3R rev 2 and will keep me up to date . Many great software additions and uses the 32nm. My 2 cards in crossfire are 45nm but performance is superb.
So watch yer screwdrivers >:D
cheers

Good to keep in mind next time I'm working on a cpu/mobo. Glad to hear your new system is up and running smoothly!
