A port on the west coast of ENGLAND coupled with a pc will give you a clue to this very famous group. A singer in the group has several slight cuts on the hand ,again it`s a "wonder" why you will not guess this one very easily.
I need the name of the group, not the singer.
Who am I ???? ;D

Yes I know they are singers, and good ones at that. But that is only a small part of the original clue. You have forgotten about being a famous painter (on TV ) Tying his friend "Joey" down and blowing into his long tube. ::)
I wonder about you Mancunians ;D
cheers
-
I think I understand your clues, just don't know who it is :-\
Edit:
Rolf Harris.
Joey -> kangaroo
bondage -> "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport"
painter -> artist, had some TV shows
Cornwall ->father named Cromwell
Beard -> "Harris"/his beard
long tube -> didgeridoo
-
Tex, I think deckkeeper got his point now.. :)
-
I would never have got that one ???
-
Yeah never heard of the guy...? I don't think I'd be able to answer it even after 47 days...
Now if it was AC/DC I would, because they came from the same city I'm going to!

Thank you deckkeeper from the bottom of my heart. My hair was just about to go grey trying to get that lazy pink fellow to use his noggin. Rolf Harris has actually had no 1 on hit parade and had his own TV show in UK for many years,where he painted for the audience.
Some of his paintings are worth a load of money. Billy has probably watched him on TV and sang along. ::)
cheers
-
Sing along with Rolf Harris!!!!!!!!!......l'd rather play football on a motorway Tex.....he he he
-
Sing along with Rolf Harris!!!!!!!!!......l'd rather play football on a motorway Tex.....he he he
If you play as well as Drogba then you will be able to dodge the Red cars ;D
Try this one on for size?
I am looking for the name of the founder(Plays in the group) of this band. Punk or heavy metal? you decide. Playing music from the Beatles,chuck berry,rolling stones got them started. Took the band quite a while to branch out from their native country and reach out to the rest of the world. Excess electricity and perhaps an explosion featured in some of their best works. Along with a bit of Scottish beef, will give you enough clues for the person I am looking for.
Again I ask. Who am I ???
cheers
Come on Weera. Your end of the globe ;)
-
Ooo, I got it. Angus Young?
plays in a band -> AC/DC
punk or metal ->their music has been called both
electricity and explosions were in their performances
Scottish beef -> Angus Young
-

;D Slow down deckkeeper. Read the first line of my question! You have only got part of the answer.The answer as it stands is not correct,but you better be quick before Night Watchman grabs an opportunity ::)
cheers
-
James Last????
-
Malcolm Young? Weren't he and Angus co-founders?
-
Malcolm Young? Weren't he and Angus co-founders?
Negative, but you have done enough to earn top marks again.
Malcolm Young forms a band in Sydney, Australia with Colin Burgess (Drums, ex-Masters Apprentices) and Larry Van Kriedt (Bass). Singer Dave Evans (ex-Velvet Underground after Malcolm left that same band) answers an advertisement placed in the Sunday Morning Herald and gets the gig. Angus Young, who just disbanded Kentuckee, is later brought in as the second lead guitarist at Malcolm’s request.
This is all on ac/dc web
http://www.ac-dc.net/ Started in 1973.
Malcolm Young was who I was looking for.
Well done deckkeeper
cheers
-
::) Now that we have given deckkeeper all the praise he is likely to get ;D
I am looking for the name of the drummer in a similar band . He can best be described as a Christian chef. With some welsh influence,rotten and vicious to the core.Controversial gun.
Who am I????
cheers
deckkeeper uses google.Why dont you. ;D
-
I think tex is giving out too many hints. I know the answer, but I'll wait until tomorrow to post it.
Come on, guys. Google is your friend.
-

Come on, guys. Google is your friend.
;D Thank you for your restraint deckkeeper. The reason I have given so many easy clues,was to try and get some of these lazy buggers to start using their PC`s and do a simple search. You would almost think they had something better to do. ::)
cheers
-
Clues so far:
is a drummer
band is similar to AC/DC
"Christian chef"
something about rotten and vicious
controversial gun
Come on, guys. Tex likes using synonyms. ;)
-
- "Christian chef" is probably a name, and the only "chef" synonym I can think of is "cook". I've no idea what the "christian" part refers to (yet).
- The words "rotten" and "vicious" stand out. If I think of famous musicians (since tex wouldn't mention them if we didn't know them), I think of Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious. If you don't remember their names, you can just search for "cook rotten vicious".
- Googling them brings up links to the "Sex Pistols". The hint about a contraversial gun makes sense now. If I check a site, I learn that their drummer is Paul Cook, and that's the answer.

Paul was a character in the Christian new testament. Yes deckkeeper , "Sex Pistols",Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten, and Paul Cook as the drummer was who I was looking for.

Angus Young is a guitarist and songwriter who has been the lead guitarist of Australian hard rock band AC/DC from it's start in 1973. Young is known for his hard-edge style lead (and his signature vibrato), wild stage energy, and most importantly, that sexy schoolboy clothing. He was ranked 96th on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Those days are long gone now, that passion for guitars, customize guitar parts (https://faberusa.com/), bridges & tone lock.
