Title: [hardware] anyone have the pandigital novel ebook reader?
Post by: lting77 on December 19, 2010, 05:49:30 am
i was looking yesterday at the pandigital novel that's on sale for 110$ after coupons/rebate @ kohls
($140 at radio shack)
http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/electronicsgames/gadgets/PRD~685112/Pandigital+Novel+7in+eReader.jsp (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/electronicsgames/gadgets/PRD~685112/Pandigital+Novel+7in+eReader.jsp)

since it was out of stock in the store (no surprise as it was a madhouse there), a clerk mentioned it'll be
discounted after x'mas (said she processed a few returns previously from a recall in the summer) but i read
those issues has been fixed

it's supposedly the same ebook reader from barnes and noble, and its droid os guts are moddable/hackable
it seems to be the best bang for buck for a 7" reader (vs the ipad) and more than adaquate for my need
as a pdf magainze reader
