Title: trying to find my files
Post by: rommer on February 10, 2011, 10:52:32 am
I just purchased a laptop and when i open a file the torrent is gone somewhere. On my desktop the torrent goes to the bit torrent to download. I cant figure out where they are going. Any suggestions?

check the settings of the torrent client.

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Downloads (http://C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Downloads)

that's default^

You can actually pres windows key + e and then insert that URL above and should take you there regardless of what username you are. This is for windows7.

Thank you, the windows key + e seems to give me some page. I am using windows 7. What I'm trying to say is that when I'm downloading a search topic on the bit che search window in the smaller bit che search site , I have no clue where my downloads its going.

windows key +e should open up a new windows explorer window and show Computer, then you can copy/paste the URL above and it will go to your downloads folder.

If you mean the step before that, when you download a file with bit che it has to first open in a torrent client. Make sure you have one installed.
