Most of the leading tech bloggs are leading with the likes of

New 22nm 3D Tri-Gate transistors will boost performance by up to 37 percent compared to existing 32nm technology.

What's more important is they should allow gate sizes <10nm a fast approaching wall.

It's too bad AMD is so far behind Intel. I love Intel but I don't want them to become too dominant, competitiveness is good for progression.

Intel has still managed to progress very significantly even despite little competitiveness though.
