Title: Firefox can't remember settings
Post by: bosoxfan on October 01, 2006, 01:10:31 am
Has anyone ever tried to get rid of the bookmarks toolbar and add a bookmarks icon on the toolbar only to have the settings reverted back upon restarting FF?

This sometimes happens when it creates a new profile every time you load firefox. I think there is a big demand for a better profile management system in Firefox.

Best I can suggest is doing a clean install, getting rid of your profile folder. Lots of info on that here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
