Chip,
I have a suggestion, why don't you change the default them to SMF Default. My personal opinion is it looks much better and for web traffickers just browsing, it gives a more professional and organized feel.
Although members can still customized their own theme.

Well thanks Half I just saw the themes available!
Personally I have chosen Classic YaBB SE Theme...
edit: Ok just changed it back to default because that one doesn't "Show unread posts since last visit"
Also I hate the Classic one... but that's just because it looks like every other fourm..

ok.. but i dont really like this theme too much, i think its kinda a little hard on the eyes.. i've upgraded the board to the latest version of SMF and I am thinking about applying this theme: http://themes.simplemachines.org/index.php?lemma=2 along with the TinyPortal modifications..
any thoughts?

That one looks best to me, it can't be any worse than the one we have now. ;)
I'll just have to use Classic YaBB SE Theme until then. Is there any chance we can get rid of the sidebar though? And put the shoutbox horizontally along the bottom like before?

I frequent another forum and the images you and I post are only seen when logged in, that is the images you and I upload; image hosting does not matter.

Thanks for putting in the new theme... but it hung up on me just before. Had to go back to my history to the profile page and change it back otherwise the page wouldn't load (just had an error with the shout box?)
I tried the new theme again and it works for now... just wanted to let you know about that.
edit: I just put on the grey theme anyway. I like it better.

Thanks... I can see that I still need to fix a few formatting issues..
And I should probably take a poll on who wants the shoutbox at the top or the bottom of the page...

the 'Show New Posts' thing has gone back to it's old link (which shows 0 posts).
Also the shoutbox isn't available on the silver theme :(

Cool goings Chip, the calendar in place and I believe Billy would be happy ;D. Anyhoo the silver\grey forum theme has no contrast. If you look at the folders as you browse a thread deep\blue, it would be nice to add that same contrast to Convivea header.

Not to make a big deal out of nothing, but is there any way to change the purplish color of the quote boxes?
Other than that it's perfect though, I love the header at the top.

i'm not sure i knew what you ment exactly.. but i changed the top part with the shoutbox to have more contrast.. was that what you mean? do you like it as it is now, or should i change it back?

Actually that is much better chip and what I did on my end is to change my monitor resolution from 1600x1200 to 1024x768, much better on the eyes. ;D

I dont know if its only me but the horizontal slider is always there because theres extra white space on the right and the left, would it be possible to get rid of this? its just a tad annoying
