Title: NFL:2007/08 season
Post by: gr1ngo on July 30, 2007, 06:28:35 am
not be long till new season kicks off.who do you support and why.

I sort of acquired the Jags as my team.when our little NFL group who all had there favorite teams, except me.i decided whoever came into the league under the expansion in 1996 i would take the AFL team, so stuck with them forever.lets hope they can last out for a bit longer this season and make the play offs.

I'm a Viking fan.......I was born in Minneapolis, so it was an easy and obvious selection at age of five......

The Jags head coach is actually a former Vike.......I used to watch Del Rio play here in my teen years........I've always hoped for the best since he was hired at Jacksonville.......I believe they'll better than the Vikes this year but thats not sayin much...... ;D........Jags will probably make it as a wildcard but It would be hard road to the Superbowl with Indy, San Diego, and NE.....
My team is still in rebuilding stage so It's going to a long season for me..........LOL

Good to see another fellow NFL'er here.........I swear I'm the only one besides you....  :D

;D Looking at the charts and my hunch bet is that the Saints will wipe the colts in sept and go on to edge past  the contenders to be very close at the end of the season. If you dont take Dallas then choose your next door neigbours.lol
cheers

afc championship game: chargers vs patriots..(with a good chance: ravens)
nfc championship game: niners vs saints... (with a good chance: bears)

superbowl: chargers vs niners (though i would love the patriots to be here)

huge patriots fan.. would love them to have a perfect season and a superbowl as a cherry :)
but .. ehh.. its gonna be tough..afc is still the toughest division..
but then again.. the pats have done what no other team year in and year out for the past 7 yrs have done.. decimate the afc!

go patriots!!!

;D ;D We all know this. A lot of teams have gone or changed names since I left Houston in 1986. This was a private joke along the various threads  with the younger members. dont jump so fast.lol

I am a patriots fan, born and raised in Boston. I went to private high school a few miles from the old foxboro stadium. My girlfriend's family is from NY and they are big Jets fans. Looking forward to the patriots victory this sunday.

I hope to see the patriots win the AFC and even the superbowl.

Does anyone know of a way to watch NFL games from a computer? I looked for streams but couldn't find much. Are there torrents out there for this kind of stuff?

Not a good start to the season here in Buffalo as TE Kevin Everett suffered a catastrophic injury to his neck potentially leaving him paralyzed for life.

I'm a Bills fan myself living in Oregon. They have been breaking my heart for a while now. I watch them on the NFL Sunday Ticket package via Directv.

This morning I was trying to program the Bills game on the NFL Sunday Ticket package to record on Tivo. There was no longer an option to record the game only view it. I tried the other games in the package and same results.

Called Directv and they tell me the games are a copyrighted product and are no longer available to be recorded only viewed!! They tell me Directv is not responsible it's the NFL.

Now the local channel games and the Espn game are available for recording. Doesn't make sense.

Anyone else with the Ticket having this problem??

 Greedy bastards!!

If you have the NFL network you may be able to record the game then since it has already been played.

Well as of today I am able to record the game from the Sunday Ticket package. Today Directv tells me the new policy won't let the record function work until 22 hours before game time??

Yesterday someone in India gave me all that copywrite crap. Today they never heard of it before.

AHHHH customer service ...gotta love it.

Now to watch the Bills get their asses handed to them!! I'm dreading next monday night. The Cowboys are going to put a hurt on them. Most of the Bill's defense is on the injured reserve list for the season.
