Protect Your mIRC Nickname Against Unauthorized Usage!!!
After you've registered your nick to NickServ you should PROTECT it! Maybe you're wondering why it's necessary to do because:
With Protection ON, if another user tries to take your nick, they will be given one minute to change to another nick, after which NickServ will forcibly change their nick!
• If you want to enable this option then you need to copy the following command:
/msg NickServ SET KILL ON
• If you want to disable this option then you need to copy the following command:
/msg NickServ SET KILL OFF
• If you are disconnected but your nick is still on the server and in the rooms:
/msg NickServ GHOST YourNickname YourPassword
<<<<< An example >>>>>
/msg NickServ GHOST DrunKnJSD 1234567
