Title: What's your favorite Firefox plugin?
Post by: kemp on February 17, 2008, 04:08:08 am
I have several so, it's a toss up....

Adblock Plus - this is likely the most useful one I have (now consider this a must have)

Colorfultabs - Just found this one and I like it... mostly for decoration but I find its helpful too

NoScript - Best security addon I have found tho, it's not really for internet newbies

Those are just a few...
What's yours?

Adblock Plus (I agree a must have)
Google Toolbar (for the google search, gmail notifier, and google bookmarks)
Greasemonkey (I make scripts for it. Go here (http://userscripts.org/users/23523/scripts?sort=installs)
BugMeNot (because I'm lazy)

Yep, Bugmenot is quite handy... though I only use it for a couple places.

Thought I would add here one plugin I'm not happy with - "Cooliris Previews". Here is a description right
from the site- "Just mouse over any link, and the Cooliris preview window immediately appears to show you the content."

This sounds great however, DON'T hover over a link that you do not want clicked because that is what is happening essentially.

I had this installed and was browsing the forums here and accidentally gave Bovski a "smack" that he doesn't deserve.
I mentioned this to Chip... I know he is busy but... hopefully he can fix that for me. Sorry again Bovski  :-\
(needless to say, I've since uninstalled this plugin ::))
