1  Bit Che / Bugs & Feature Requests / Re: Less results using "All" than "Video" on: July 08, 2007, 04:07:51 am

Hmm, I can't see anything obvious there for seed number sorting in [Demonoid] or [Options] or in Demonoid.ini, though I notice the Demonoid Script is using external=1, which means externally tracked torrents, I've changed that to external=0 for Demonoid tracked ones, and it's picking up the results I was expecting. (external=2 for both)

And I've just learned something.

Cheers, Mark
2  Bit Che / Bugs & Feature Requests / Less results using "All" than "Video" on: July 08, 2007, 12:29:46 am

I just noticed that BitCHE occasionally seems to leave out results.

I did one of my regular searches, and noticed that Demonoid didn't show a file up that I had downloaded yesterday.  Doing the search directly on demonoid gets the result. Try comparing a search for "Underwater" with BitCHE *JUST* searching Demonoid, and a search on DM itself.

In fact a search for Underwater on DM is only returning 1 result if "All" is selected, but 5 results if "Video" is selected.

Can anyone confirm please, or is my machine playing silly buggers.  It's consistent for me across runs of BitCHE.

And now it's working again, did Demonoid change it's format back, or did the script get fixed  Huh

Either way I'm glad.

Thanks again for BitCHE Chip!

I'm currently not getting any Demonoid results in BitChe, even though searchs from the website are working, so I guess they've changed their results format again.

Also results from h33t are only showing 'B' in the size column.

3 weeks of snowboarding and busyness, really hope you had enough fun to balance off the work Chip.

Really looking forward to the new release and seeing some more sites get indexed, particularly as one of my favorite sites has folded,

BTW, whenever I open a torrent file from BitChe into uTorrent, the new torrent dialog in utorrent pops up twice, happens on pretty much every torrent and I don't think it happens if I open a torrent straight from Opera.  Has anyone else noticed this, or is it an oddity just wih my machine?

Thanks for the new build...

Request, can you please reread the filter.txt before doing a new search.

Currently you seem to have to exit BC and restart to get the filter.txt reread, and I've just realised BC is processing the filter.txt as regexp's.  Adding [Sex] as a line in the filter.txt removes any result with an S, e or x in it. Is there a way to make it straight text?

BTW, F4 and F5 only seem to work on the last tab displayed, I normally run with remove exact off, but highlighting the first sticky tab and pressing F4 or F5, removes results from the third tab.

Much appreciate all you effort Chip.

7  Bit Che / Bugs & Feature Requests / Re: "-keyword" filters for removing results. on: November 21, 2006, 03:49:45 am

In the search box type "what you want" -"what you don't want", eg. linux -fedora

It will give you all the linux results after removing all results with fedora in.
