General Discussion / Re: UK driving licences......beware!!
« on: February 12, 2009, 06:14:28 pm »
here in Aus, we have to pay around $100 to renew our licences every 5 years.

I looked into changing my Aus licence into UK one when i get there, that's going to cost me 50 pounds... plus they want me to send my old licence away with my application form - I think not????

So if you go into a registered post office... they charge you another 4 quid for doing that...  ::)

Hiddink is a good coach, but what is he going to change in 2 months?

Ha! Someone must have read my post and not yours billy, Scolari has been sacked!

Even though I criticised him and said he didn't have the staying power to win the league, I don't think they should have sacked him! He just needs a bit of top club experience... and he is a good manager! Had they just left him I think he would have been 200% better next season... And switching managers just makes things worse for the rest of this season not better!

Chelsea for relegation? Maybe! And now Ade (playing with no effort???) is out, Eduardo is in, Eboue is out, Arshavin in, we're going to take that Champions League place off ya.

::) it's no wonder people call him E-boo-eh. I don't think I've ever seen something as stupid.

Man U playing steady, it's all you really need to win the league I guess, steadiness, and that's what you've had for the last few seasons.

Chelsea have the problem which I thought they might have, Scolari being a (good, but nonetheless) national team coach for so many years, and now is thrown into a long season - it's not like the world cup! I thought he would drop off towards the end of the season, I think we're seeing that now. And what happened to Deco??

Villa look to be steady, I actually think it will be Arsenal v Chelsea for champions league, Villa 3rd, and then Reds v Red Devils for Champions.

All I want is Arsene Wenger to stop being so damn stubborn!

Waddya think of Bentner now Banana??.....he pulled Arsenal out the sh-t today... [rolleyes]

Well the game wasn't shown here... but from what I've heard, Bendtner tapped in the goal, but was still crap. Apparently Vela changed the game when he came on?

The Hull game is on here this weekend so we'll see.

and for the record I just hate the way he plays. I think he could be really good if he was to just stand on the penalty spot at be a target man, he is a really good header of the ball. It's when he floats about and tries to pass it around that he screws up... I know Arsenal are a passing team, but I just don't think it works with him. Bring on Eduardo!
