Disabling Zone Alarm did the trick. Bit Che works fine after you download it and restart the Zone Alarm. Thanks for the help.

I got the same script error message when I downloaded the new version. I typed in a couple of queries and the window kept coming up blank with 'done' showing in the bottom left corner. I typed in 'the beatles' knowing that I should get hundreds of hits and still the window was blank with no results. Is this an issue with the firewalls? I am running Zone Alarm and also the Windows firewall. I decided to just use my system recovery option and recoverd the original version. I am very excited about getting and using the new version but I think there are a lot of us out there that might need a little guidance.

Thanks!!!

Music - Movies - TV / Re: The Best TV-series of the century
« on: February 29, 2008, 03:24:51 pm »
Interesting topic. Here's some oldies but goodies.
1) The Twilight Zone (Great stories, writing, acting. Just great television)
2) The Rockford Files
3) The Mod Squad (Peggy Lipton was soooo hot)
4) The FBI (Efrem Zimbalist Jr. What a great name. Long before Scully & Mulder)
5) The Smothers Brothers (For all you old hippies)
6) Combat (Vic Morrow never ever ran out of bullets)
7) Dark Shadows
8) Get Smart (Mel Brooks at his censorred best)
9) The Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres & Petticoat Junction (They were all the same show really)
10) The Wonderful World of Disney

Honorable Mentions:
1) 'F' Troop
2) Jonny Quest (Is there a cooler name then Race Bannon?)
3) Sky King (...out of the clear blue of the western sky comes...Sky King...YEEHAW!!)
4) Space Angel (gotta wonder if this is where Conan OBrien got the idea for real lips on a picture gag)
5) George of The Jungle, Super Chicken & Tom Slick and his Thunderbolt Greaseslapper (these toons still make me laugh outloud)

The one and only time I tried to upload one of my music videos  I received a phone call two days into the upload from my ISP (Insight). They asked me if I had a router or a server because there was an increase in my usage. It was basically a warning shot across my bow. I immediately pulled the video and haven't tried it since. Pity to cuz I would love to share a couple concert video I have of bands that I know are not widely known.

Bugs & Feature Requests / How long to get the Guevara Edition?
« on: February 27, 2008, 08:05:08 pm »
Hi,
I was wonndering how long it will take to get the Guevara Edition after I have donated. I sent a check back on January 16, 08 but i still haven't hear from anyone. I did include my name and email address on the letter that accompanied the check. Did i do something wrong or out of synch? This is a great little program and I have passed the Bit Che name along to several friends who also enjoy using it. Let me know and I can email you my name and email address to verify and information.

Thanks,

General Discussion / Downloading Programs
« on: January 14, 2008, 11:37:23 pm »
I currently have both Bitlord & Limewire. I like to use Bitlord whenever I am using the Bit Che search. However, whenever I turn on my Limewire, Bit Che suddenely recognizes Limewire as my default downloading program where before it was recognising Bitload. What can I do to permanently set Bitlord as my default downloading program when using Bit Che? This is a great search engine, by the way!!!
Thanks!
