P2P - Filesharing / RIAA and MPAA are DDoS'd
« on: September 20, 2010, 02:51:40 am »
I just thought this was pretty funny:

In an offense called “Operation Payback,” members of the Internet collective Anonymous have organized what seems to be anti anti-piracy movement. Dubbed by Torrent Freak as the ”protest of the future” the group has been pretty busy over the past 36 hours launching DDoS attacks on the MPAA, Indian anti-piracy site AiPlex Software and today both and The attacks are apparently in retaliation for comments the CEO of Aiplex software made about his firm being hired by the film industry to take down The Pirate Bay.

Gaming / StarCraft II !!!!!!!!!

Just got mine today, anybody else going to get it? ;D

Basically, this company, Luvdarts, made MMS content, and it got distributed via MMS. Since recipients of MMS can forward the MMS data they receive, such content got forwarded around. Since the mobile operators receive revenue for MMS data, Luvdarts is effectively claiming that they are profiting off the infringement of Luvdarts content.

This is absolutely ridiculous, it appalls me how idiotic people are these days. People are complaining about caps and increasing fees for mobile networks and now a company is trying to sue them? Give them a break, we just want a free platform.

General Discussion / The New Orleans Saints win their first Super Bowl
« on: February 07, 2010, 01:09:45 pm »
The Saints win their first ever super bowl appearance. Drew Brees also tied Tom Brady's completion record for any super bowl (32 completions).

"Miami Gardens, Fla. -- The New Orleans Saints have won Super Bowl XLIV.
They beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 here at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida."

Anybody else use In case you don't know it records what you listen to through a scrobbler (originally the site was called Audioscrobbler)

It's not 100% accurate since some of my music doesn't have proper tags, and often times it won't register artists correctly if someone is featured in the song.

Regardless my site is here: add me as a friend if anybody has it!

P2P - Filesharing / DEMONOID IS BACK!
« on: December 13, 2009, 05:52:13 am »
It's been down for several months and I was beginning to think that it would not come back. I'm not sure how much the downtime will hurt the demonoid community, but it's good to see that it has returned.

I don't have a TV in my apartment so I need to watch any NFL on my computer. Does anyone have any sites where you can do this? There was a thread about this a while back but I can't find it.

I have this for select Sunday games: (NBC)

And this for select Thursday games: (NFL Network)

post any other links you have!

I just want to say I saw this a few nights ago, and it's the best and most original sci-fi I have seen in a while! 10/10 for me.

Has anyone else seen it? I recommend it if you're a sci-fi fan.

Music - Movies - TV / Digital TV

I just did a autoscan on my digital TV, and it found a lot of channels in the notation 102-2, 102-3, 103-3, etc.  What is the meaning behind this notation ? Why not just have sequential numbers?
