stone cold dead!
« on: March 02, 2008, 02:09:46 am »
Hi-
Bit Che just died on me.  I click on its shortcut, nada, i click on x.exe, nada.  I reinstalled [latest version], more nada.
No problems with other programs, no drastic system changes.  I have a fairly white-bread system [2.67Ghz E6750, 2G RAM, XP Pro].
     Ideas???

Nada?

It doesn't load? You don't get an error? Does it show up in process list?

Did it work before? Have you done anything since it working?
Daniel: "This tastes like chicken."
Carter: "So what's wrong with it?"
Daniel: "It's macaroni and cheese."

Hi baloch00
Try disabling any firewalls you have and see if you can update then.

Lol when I saw the title I was like "Steve Austin died?!?!? Not another wrestler."

Good attention getter.

Hey Quantum- sorry about silence.  I  got distracted and *assumed* i'd be auto-notified about replies.
No error messages, nada.  Just today i re downloaded/installed Bit Che.  When i clicked on the QuickLaunch icon my computer couldn't find anything on other end.  And when i clicked on x.exe, nada, again.

I checked my firewall but no exclusions there.   Task Manager shows no Bit Che after i try to activate it.

I did read a single reference to Threatfire [which i use] blocking Bit Che, but couldn't find any info on it, and when i disable it Bit Che problem persists.
