I'm in the U.K, I have one pre-ordered for launch day ;D, getting lots of people round to our house to play it (and we'll have 4 controllers), should be lots of fun.
Daniel: "This tastes like chicken."
Carter: "So what's wrong with it?"
Daniel: "It's macaroni and cheese."

Yer it looks like it will be very good, unfortunately many of my games are spread over various regions and my gamcube is chipped to play them so as good as it is I dont think I shall be upgrading just yet. I will be wanting one eventually though , its just a shame about regional coding.

I might grab one next year or so if I'm feeling rich. I think it'll be too much money for the amount of use I'll give it, but because it's so different I might give it a go when it gets cheaper.

now i can reply to my own post (weird huh ?)
well .... wii is .... amazing ...
i never played so easily.
just grab the wiimote and point the TV, simple.
i played "wii sports" (given in the box) :
box is awfull for arms, golf is fun, as for bowling ...
i though baseball will break the wiimote ;)

now that my arms hurts, i'm playing zelda (swords are controlled by the wiimote and nunchuk).

wii is really a good deal
(plus i heard some releases of games are already online, not playable still but it's the beginning)

hope it helps.

Well I've had a Wii for a bit now and I'm quite impressed. The only thing it's lacking at the moment is lots of games, but hopefully that will change over the next year  :)
