Harrods launches 'detox sorbet'
A new "detox sorbet" made with extracts of kelp and milk thistle was being launched at Harrods.

Priced at £13.75 per litre, the dessert was created to help the skin, digestive system and liver.

It contains a vitamin shot as its base ingredient and is made without eggs or dairy products.

The vitamin shot also contains extracts of burdock root, sheep sorrel, watercress, dandelion, red clover and aloe vera.

It has a sweet, slightly liquorice flavour, according to Harrods food halls and restaurants press and product manager Andre Dang.

"We came up with it because our customers tend to be busy and this is a fun and easy way to cleanse your system without putting in too much effort," Mr Dang said.

The Detox Sorbet was developed by the ice cream parlour Morelli's Gelato and the Harrods Farmacia Urban Healing centre.

It costs £6.99 for a sundae to eat in or £13.75 per litre to take away.

I can afford one to get you started. >:D
cheers
