NyaaTorrents was deactivated because the site had become unreachable.  The reactivated script is attached.

I don't see a previous tokyotosho.info script to update and at the moment I get a 404 Error trying to open the page.  I'll check again later.

Edit: From December 2009:

Apparently, Funimation did a stamp down on Tokyotosho so they need to find another server to host it on.

main=http://1337x.org/old/search?search=%SEARCH%&cat=0

could be now something like:
main=http://1337x.org/srch?search=%SEARCH%&cat=0

for the
Code:

1337x.org s too valuable source to give up

They were redoing the site when I wrote the original script.
For compatibility we were using the old site's search.
It looks like they've finished their changes and the whole script needed rewriting.

The new script is attached (you'll of course need to delete or update the search string in the settings.ini file).

You are correct, this was a simple search/replace of '.com' to '.info'.  Here is the updated script (they still don't put the Seeder/Leechers on the results page so all torrents are still reported as 1:0).

Edit: Script removed because of error.  Get the update a few posts lower.

It's something you either need to do yourself, or wait for the official update to fix it.

If you want to do it yourself:
Open Bit Che
Select File/Open App Data Folder...
Open 'settings.ini' in notepad.
Find the section that says: [1337x.org] and delete everything from that to the next tracker name in brackets.
Save your changes and re-open Bit Che.

About tokyotosho...
You are correct, this was a simple search/replace of '.com' to '.info'.
Not quite true. Displayed strange characters (see screenshot)

You are correct.  I took that to be Japanese characters (which cannot be fixed), but there are indeed some strange hidden characters that only appear when shown in the font used by BC.  I now have the script strip those.

There was also a small error in how it found the first hit.  That has been fixed as well.
Thanks for keeping me honest.

Something went wrong with what I posted.  If you grabbed it before I could fix it, redownload from the last post and try again.

Edit: Ok, here's the deal.  BC scripts have a command called Vacuum that should remove strange characters.
In the case of Tokyotosho, it doesn't work.
I've identified 2 odd characters.
You are seeing in English, I'm seeing .
Whatever that character is supposed to be, it is invisible on the website.

There is also one that looks like – (in English) but on the website appears as a dash.

Now here is the real problem.  Vacuum doesn't fix it, and doing a replace command in the script works... but not permanently.
If you open the script to edit it, the characters are changed to a box and a long dash.
If you now save it, not only does in no longer fix the problem, the format of the file is modified and Bit Che will no longer recognize the .ini as being a valid script.

Where I'm going with this is that you cannot edit the Tokyotosho script without breaking the fix for the characters.  Chip! if you are reading this, an update to what Vacuum does would be useful.

OK..  while i keep this in my records for something to look at (problems with Japanese characters are practically impossible for me to identify and fix)...  can you both try the attached script .ini file?  I have tried to make the appropriate replace function that CuF has identified, while also being careful of what binary format the .ini is saved in (using UltraEdit).

hopefully, this script works for both of you.. if not, let me know.?

thanks,
chip

EDIT:  do not edit/save this file.. and if you open it up, and see the line that reads "d=replace(d,,)"...  dont worry, there actually IS data in there, you just need a HEX Editor to see it..

RE-EDIT:   I can confirm CuF's works for me.. and mine that I posted doesnt.  (well it did, until I restarted Bit Che, then its not displayed.. odd) but thanks CuF, we will go with yours Smiley

I have the same problem with your attachment that I ran into before: the format of the file prevents Bit Che from recognizing that a script even exists.
The script I posted above DOES work fine, and like yours cannot be opened and saved without it getting messed up.

Btw, the problem doesn't seem to be related to Japanese characters, but strange/extraneous ones.  They aren't visible when browsing the website and they're in the middle of weird locations (like between the period and 'a' in '.AVI').

To be fair, the problem is purely cosmetic.  It doesn't effect the ability to open the source page or download the .torrents.

bt-chat.com engine is grabbing peer numbers also can download torrents the problem is it does not grab names nor the file sizes.

I modified demonoid script. There is a second script that may be placed in scripts folder.
Now there is possibility to unlimited search without membership and download five torrents files a week without registration.
After five downloads comes an error: demonoid.com/error_messages.php?error_id=4 so you have wait for a week or register and use regular demonoid script.
