strange little squares.

I am getting black or white tiny little rectangles on my pages, only about two or three dotted about my page seemingly at random, one little white one seems to be following my cursor, could it be a 'key logger'? my Avast antivirus hasn't reported anything. if i clik outside this text box on the left, a little grey one appears at the bottom left hand corner of the text box, when i clik in the text box it disappears.
am i going mad, has Tex eventually done my head in, or has anybody else had this phenominon?

Sounds either like your operating system is corrupted or more likely your graphics card is over heating and dying. I'd suggest taking apart your case and cleaning dust out and making sure all fans are working, if that doesn't work try a full re-install of your operating system and drivers.

yer prob right, but all that work is a pain in the bum
the little squares are not on this morning, but if they appear tonight ( I leave this PC on all day) it will be a heat thing.

No problem, that would seem to indicate a heat problem more than anything else. I would honestly suggest a clean out of a PC once a year and replacement of fans once every 2 years anyway.

I did as you suggested Quantum, and have not had any 'little squares' for over a month now.
