« on: May 04, 2010, 11:49:46 pm »
Anyone got the scoop on why bit che suddenly aquired this file? It appears to be a script related file and since AVG noticed it I feel certain it must be a virus as AVG rarley gives me a false warning.. Anyway, I renamed it to special.old until I can find out more about it.. chip chip chipping away at it  ??? Any info?

Thanks all,

It is not a virus.. special.exe been apart of Bit Che for years.  AVG must be reporting it as a false positive. Please submit the sample to AVG so that they can flag it as safe from now on.

Also,  you can get the latest version of special.exe from here: http://convivea.com/forums/index.php?topic=614.0

Special.exe handles the Special Logins that some sites require.. such as CAPTCHAS or SSL, JavaScript, Ajax, etc that Bit Che's normal login system can't handle. In other words, it can be used to login into pretty much any site and allow Bit Che to use those cookies.
