not detecting skips

i have some mp3 that skip but arent being detected as bad. why?

Which media player are you using? Have you installed them into a mp3 player?

i have 2 players im using right now. aimp2 and juke 4.0.2. i dont play it on windows media player altho its installed on my pc. i just play the mp3 and listen to them. i dont know what u mean by installed into an mp3 player. ???

I was referring to a portable mp3 player that you may have been jamming to mp3's.

these mp3 were not on any portable player but downloaded directly or recorded streaming live from the internet and then played on aimp2 and juke.

is there a free mp3 fix for the skipping problem?

I would not try to fix broken mp3's. If they are skipping or have distortion then your source of .mp3 is bad. There are very good sources of .mp3s elsewhere.

I couldn't agree more. I used emp3z. Worked great for me. I also recommend NCT.
