1.  You will need an IRC  (Internet Relay Chat) program. The most popular client is called 'mIRC'. You can download this program from the official website @ mirc.com or you can try searching Bit Che.


2. Once you have a IRC client up and running, go to:

channel:  #bit_che

or type into the status window:
/server irc.p2p-network.net
/join #bit_che

3. Next, you must either participate in the chatroom (say hi, etc) or just hang out and idle. Once you have been there for a while (3+ DAYS) and the OPS get to know you, they will unlock your forums account for you. Do not join the channel and ask for your account to be unlocked. I went there for a look but no one seemed to be there...
I'm assuming however since there is no further notices here, that this promotion is still going.
and once you're there, how do they (that is the OPS) know who you are? Do you have to login?
Since I'm a bit of an IRC newbie could anyone tell me how to log in or at least change my nickname?

mIRC Options (Ctrl + O) and then click the tab Options and the button Perform;
Then you Enable perform on connect for All Networks and write /join #bit_che in the window.

Well, I'm not new to the community.. used to have another account. So, I decided to jump into the IRC channel and help idle. I need to start working on my posts though. XD
