I’ve been lurking on this thread, and it’s super interesting. I don’t have direct experience with CRO services, but I’ve been tinkering with my own site for a while. I sell handmade crafts, and last year I noticed most people left during checkout. I tried speeding up the page load and adding clearer shipping info, which bumped my sales a little. From what I’ve read, CRO seems like detective work—figuring out why users bounce and testing fixes. I think ROI depends on how well you understand your customers and whether you keep tweaking based on data. It’s not guaranteed, but if you’re methodical, it’s probably better than just hoping ads will do the trick. Anyone here tried heatmaps or user recordings to see where people get stuck? I’m thinking of giving that a go next.
