This is a follow-up... ...chip will this new version of µTorrent conflict with Bit Che or will the default bitTorrent client be prompted when opening a torrent file within Bit Che?

bit che opens the torrents using shellexecute, so the torrents should be opened with whatever program you have associated with .torrent extension.. I haven't tested the webUI yet since I have no need for it, but I dont see why that would change anything.. and I am assuming you can open torrents in the webUI if you are remote connected to uTorrent computer by using the Copy Torrent URL to the clipboard, and then instructing the webUI to open the torrent.. but someone should follow up on this (if anyone uses the webUI) and let me know if I should make any changes to bit che..
thanks :)

It's about damn time they came out with this, they've been in closed beta since aslong as I can remember and really touchy on their website what time open beta was coming out.
I'll have to test it first but I imagine because of the much reduced system resources that it takes I will use this on our server.
