General Discussion / Re: US Election '08
« on: May 17, 2008, 06:15:18 am »
When the Washington State Federal court finds that what a politician says prior to being elected is protected under the First Amendment of the US Constitution as "Free Speech" and cannot be held accountable for promises made true or false to be elected, whether kept or not. That it is up to the voter to decide what the truth is when voting ............ I don't know but the goal post seems to be moving in front of our eyes, to the left, to the right ....... what does a patriot do with the choices were given .......... Vote Smart.  ;D

It apperars to be some problems with SP3, the only thing that was weird was when downloading thru my standard IP tracking software it didn't show any activity at all ????? So I used the OldSchool Dos prompt and "Netstat" with the proper syntax to see WTF was going on, GOOD LUCK  ;D

I had a bad experience with several downloads that required a " Vodei " video player, one that I hadn't heard of. I looked at it's one page Web Site and downloaded it into a simple Windows OS system computer with networking only, my troll target special. Sniffed the package real good looked ok, but shouldn't have un-ziped it, bad idea .......... free isn't free sometimes ......... ;D

Looked at my notes and the torrents were from "Movies Empire" that requires the "Vodei Player" both have nothing on contact or webmaster information "BEWARE" .............. Good Luck  ;D

This dosen't surprise me a bit, the MPAA ( Motion Picture Association of America ) have been really pissed off ever sence VHS tape recorders were made, and now have so much money and power they will go to any extreem to capitalize on their so called pain and suffering, from hiring hackers to break into torrent web sites to fake torrents to track IP's. The next web sites Isohunt and Pirate Bay seem to be on their hit list next ......... but what about Google it must be somehow emune from the same laws.  ;D

Computers - Technology / Re: Firewall Software
« on: May 07, 2008, 08:55:26 am »
I use 2 dlink routers and Nod32 3.0.642.0    antivirus  spywareblaster 4.0 and hyperos runiing tinyxp pro rev6. and all my browsing is sandboxed .

Sandboxing is a great way to stop most all hacking. Just remember to check your firewall reports every once in a while to see if anything is trying to get inside past what you have set up, most firewalls keep the information recorded but won't display whats happening by program defaults. If you see a IP address that looks fishy check it out a good tool for look-up is DNSstuff and its free. (I also use this sometimes on my torrent client you would be surprised where some files are located)  ;D

Hope the link works for you

Computers - Technology / Re: Firewall Software
« on: May 06, 2008, 02:03:19 pm »
Firewall Software and Firewall Routers with VPN Endpoint are both a good starting point "because" if someone is pretty good at hacking  ::) and hell bent on getting inside they can and will, especially from countries such as China, Uruguay, Venezuela and alike even Russia have people hackin all day emune from US laws. So my best solution is lock-out IP address groups ie:  24.232.0.0 thru 24.232.255.255, 61.48.0.0 thru 61.48.255.255, 62.62.128.0 thru 62.62.144.255, 80.15.37.0 thru 80.15.37.255 got the idea, if you have problems in a certain area and you don't go there "lock-um out". I kinda have compiled a list from the past 8 years of touchie spots of the world but it can have some limitatons but not many.  ;D

Nope it didn't have a chance, even after getting hit 12 times in 20 seconds I had to hit "Ctrl Alt Del" and exit my browser to stop the madness. Most excitment Ive had in at least a week.  ;D

Bugs & Feature Requests / "Beware" BT-CHAT Script
« on: April 27, 2008, 07:33:54 am »
Hey People, Beware of the BT-Chat Web site useing the "Open Page" button, Its packed with pop-ups and if your really lucky you might even get a "Trojan.Packed.13" virus "Good Luck". Its to bad that this happens to such great software like "Bit Che" but there are some jerks out there.
